A busy few weeks at the Horizon yard in Taiwan has seen the launch of the 35-metre explorer superyachtTango 5, the first in the Horizon EP series. Horizon also announced its latest concept, the P136.
The steel-hulled Tango 5 (above) has a four stateroom layout as well as a cockpit configured for fishing and diving. Horizon will be conducting a series of commissioning tests and sea trials before handover in March. She is due to make her world debut at the Boat Asia Show in Singapore in April.
The new P136 concept (below) is a development of the popular P130, of which five were delivered between 2007 and 2012. She features a six guest stateroom layout. “We are extremely comfortable with the design and pedigree behind the new Horizon P136, and we are confident she will be well received throughout the global yacht market,” says Horizon CEO John Lu.
In December, the 28.7-metre Black Legion was delivered to her owner in Brisbane. Back in May, Horizonlaunched the 45.1-metre Polaris, the largest ice-class yacht ever built in Asia.
